Dare to compete


There is a sense of malaise in parts of corporate Canada these days. Some worry that the appreciation of the Canadian dollar threatens to reduce Canadian export shares. Others are concerned that the Canadian government’s opposition to the Anglo-American war on Iraq will handicap trade access to the US market, while countries such as Australia stand to gain from future trade discussions with the Americans because of their support.
