Oanda rolls out its fastest trading engine

Online retail foreign exchange trading firm Oanda launched the latest version of its v20 trading engine on October 13, completing its global rollout and offering clients an execution speed of 1.3 milliseconds.

The launch marks Oanda's 20th anniversary and the improved engine is the firm's quickest yet, offering an execution speed four times faster than its legacy trading system.

The enhanced engine is built on a multi-cluster machine architecture, which, says Oanda, redefines the way data flows
