Saxo opens office in Istanbul

Saxo Bank has continued its expansion into eastern Europe with the opening of a new office in Turkey, after it acquired 89.54% of local broker Değer Menkul Değerler in May 2012. The new branch, known as Saxo Capital Markets Menkul Değerler AŞ, will be headed by Egemen Kaya, previously head of emerging markets and precious metals at Saxo in Copenhagen.
