NFA hands out $12,000 fine

WASHINGTON, DC - The US National Futures Association (NFA) has fined Hi-Tech Futures Trading and its president, Jamie Lee Hall, $12,000 for conducting business with an individual who had been permanently barred from NFA membership.

The Florida-based futures and options introducing broker, which also offers trading in currency contracts, is banned from soliciting and accepting new accounts for 18 months. Hi-Tech can continue to offer services to existing customers.

Hall is personally prohibited
