Fenics launch boosts options-trading automation

FX options-trading software firm uprgrades platform

Options-pricing software provider Fenics has launched a new version of its platform and announced the release of a dealing engine as it seeks to bring more automation to the options-trading world.

"At the moment there are 10–12 large banks that have fully automated options-dealing engines," says Richard Brunt, managing director of Fenics. "This new rollout will remove the costly technology barrier to building out a fully-automated FX options offering with a customisable front end."
