Phlx Announces New Weekly DM Contract At Paris Symposium On Currency Options

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (Phlx) is making new efforts to extend the international reach of its currency options and futures products. The exchange held its annual options symposium in Paris for the first time September 29 to October 1. During the symposium, the tenth such event, officials announced new dollar-settled short-term Deutsche-mark options contracts and confirmed a move to set up an exchange in Ireland in joint venture with the Finex.
