Phlx Launches Customised Dates In New Bid To Strengthen Ucom

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (Phlx) launched customised expiration dates a year to the day of its launch on November 14 -- the final phase in the roll out of its United Currency Options Market (Ucom).

Receiving Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approval to offer customised dates to Ucom users was "the last piece to fall in place," says Joseph Rizzello, Phlx executive vice president.

Phlx reported that the first exchange traded currency options transactions with a custom dated expiration

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
