Alves joins FlexTrade in senior FX role

FlexTrade is building up the leadership of its FX business as the buy side continues to adopt more automation

Paul Alves has joined FlexTrade as senior vice-president for global foreign exchange business development.

Alves, who is based in Boston, Massachusetts, will be responsible for expanding the firm’s buy-side trading solutions to asset managers.

He reports to Vijay Kedia, president and chief executive of FlexTrade.

Alves worked at State Street’s FX Connect for more than 12 years, before leaving the company in August 2017 as a senior managing director. Prior to that, he was vice-president of
