
EBS to consider latency floor extension within weeks

Foreign exchange trading platform EBS is nearing the end of an extensive impact analysis on the effect of the latency floor it implemented for AUD/USD and USD/CHF earlier this year, and will make a decision within weeks on whether to extend the measure to other currency pairs.
EBS first unveiled its proposals in May, explaining that the latency floor would batch and pause incoming trades, randomising the position of orders in the queue before matching, in an attempt to eliminate competition for
