Banks eye new protocol to streamline platform connectivity

IT consultancy Etrading Software has launched an industry initiative to improve the processes brokers use to permission and connect their clients to foreign exchange electronic trading platforms. The so-called Trading Enablement Standardisation Initiative (Tesi) is backed by seven banks, including JP Morgan, UBS, Royal Bank of Scotland and Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB).
