Dresdner Poised To Begin Trading FX Options Book In Three Centres

Dresdner Bank will start up its long-planned global book in FX options out of three centres at the end of this month, according to officials. The bank has already started trading options out of Frankfurt with extended hours, says Victor von Klemperer, head of FX and precious metals for the bank.

Dresdner has hired six options traders in Frankfurt over the past six months and has four more hires in New York about to be completed, two in trading and two in sales, he says. Earlier this year Gerhard
