TransFicc secures Citi investment

Connectivity provider will join US bank’s innovation lab in London

Citi has made a strategic investment in connectivity provider TransFicc for an undisclosed amount, joining existing shareholders such as FinLab, Illuminate and Commerzbank’s research and development unit, Main Incubator.

Since its inception in 2016, TransFicc has sought to help financial firms overcome the fragmentation of trading venues in the fixed-income space and empower them with low-latency, scalable, secure connectivity.
