TXC live with Tokyo co-location facility
The co-location facility enables trading access to electronic communications networks (ECN) in Asian hours, and is housed in the same data centre as EBS Spot’s Asian matching engine (FX Week, February 1 and March 1). The facility was tested for 30 days ahead of going live. The move concludes the companies' list of co-location facilities in Chicago, Secaucus, New Jersey and Slough in the UK, said Alan Schwarz, president and chief operating officer at TXC in Jersey City.
