Thomson Reuters steps into DMA with Aegisoft buy
The deal, which closed last week under undisclosed terms, provides Thomson Reuters with Aegisoft’s Athena trading platform, exchange connectivity, management tools and algorithmic offerings, as well as the vendor’s foreign exchange aggregation, and client and exchange simulators.
“What we haven’t had in the past is direct exchange connectivity,” explained Stephen Wilson, global head of exchange-traded instruments at Thomson Reuters. “This is how Aegisoft essentially completes the end-to-end
