Chemical Bank is currently in the midst of reconfiguring its trading room systems worldwide, sources at the bank say. The bank's decision to continue with the implementation in the face of its proposed merger with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. suggests that Chemical executives are betting that the new intelligent workstation technology they are installing will be the system of choice when the two banks merge.
