BP INSTALLS WALL STREET SYSTEMS GLOBALLY

Petroleum and petrochemical giant BP is using Wall Street Systems’ treasury engine globally as its common platform for managing FX, cash management and funding operations, Wall Street Systems announced last week.

The move follows the consolidation of BP’s disparate treasury operations after its 1998 merger with Amoco, and acquisitions of Arco and Burmah Castrol in 1999 and 2000.

The product is now used by 200 treasury staff at offices in London, Chicago
