BarCap hires head of FX IT
Barclays Capital has hired Andrew Witney as its new head of IT for FX, commodities, emerging markets and money markets in London. Witney will continue to develop the bank's electronic trading platforms and IT applications for those businesses, reporting to Kevin O'Reilly, managing director and head of IT and strategic planning at BarCap in London.
Witney came from UBS in London, where he was a managing director, responsible for developing the firm's pan-European banking
