Banco do Brasil uses BoNY for CLS
The system is now live at Banco do Brasil’s Brasilia HQ and in Tokyo. It is due to be rolled out to its other branches in Rio de Janeiro, New York and London over the coming months, said a BoNY official.
The agreement allows Banco do Brasil to take advantage of the reduced payment messages and processing costs
provided by CLS, while increasing operational efficiency and reducing costly investigations, said Joseph Furnari, manager of BoNY’s international cash management sales group.
