Trio signs first arb tool client

The un-named client is one of the four global banks that tested the system, and is set to install Vantage at its offices in Tokyo and Dublin.

Development of the tool reflects a growing trend for banks to bring products together on one desk to profit from arbitrage opportunities, said Greg Stevens, business development director at Trio in London.

Instruments covered include cash deposits, forward rate agreements, overnight index swaps and foreign exchange forwards.
