
Swedbank installs new turrets
The bulk of the Voice-over-IP (VoIP) IQMX turrets will be in the bank’s Stockholm office, the first site to be converted. Gothenberg, Malmo and 17 other satellite offices will then join the list. The bank expects to complete the implementation by Spring 2005.
IPC’s turrets replace Swedbank’s existing technology from Reuters Voice Systems (RVS). IPC bought RVS, formerly known as Wyatts, in 1998, and is now planning to phase out its turrets.
