CLS Bank sets record for payment instructions value
The system settled about 1.1 million payment instructions with a gross value of $ 10.3 trillion, up on a previous record of $8.75 trillion based on 777,596 payment instructions set on December 19. This is the first time the value of payment instructions settled in one day has exceeded $10 trillion.
So far in March, CLS Bank has been settling an average daily volume of 600,000 instructions, with a gross value of $5.3 trillion.
