FX Committee Addresses Stop-Loss Issues In Look At Electronic Broking

NEW YORK--In an update to the US Foreign Exchange Committee's recent survey assessing the impact of electronic broking on the FX market (FXW, January 12), the committee has made two recommendations pertaining to the growth of 24-hour electronic trading and its corresponding increase in price transparency.

These services have had a "profound impact" on the structure of the FX market in recent years, according to the committee.
