McDermott to join SocGen as Americas FXPB head
Brian McDermott is set to join Societe Generale on April 23, after resigning from Traiana
Brian McDermott, former head of buy-side sales for the Americas at Traiana, is set to join Societe Generale on April 23, as head of foreign exchange prime brokerage for the Americas region, FX Week has learned.
McDermott will report to John O’Hara, head of PB and clearing for the Americas, and global head of FXPB and FX clearing.
Prior to his latest appointment, McDermott worked for post-trade technology company Traiana for nearly three years from June 2015, covering buy-side customer accounts
