Citibank has promoted Steve Nutland to run the FX spot desk in London, says an official. He replaces Steve Weller, who recently left the bank.
First Chicago hired Steve Bassi as head of FX spot trading in London, says Mel Mayne, head of FX in London. Bassi previously ran spot trading at BZW in London. Stewart Morton, who previously held that position, will concentrate on dollar/Swiss trading when Bassi takes up his position on May 26.
