UBS resurges to take first prize for Swiss franc

According to Chris Vogelgesang, macro FX co-head at UBS in London, the bank’s key market advantage over competitors in Swiss franc resulted from the tightness of its quotation spreads. “In FX swaps or outrights, UBS is able to provide the tightest spread,” he said.

More generally, the Swiss bank has renewed customer focus and become more client-centric, according to Vogelgesang, which has further added to the bank’s success over the past year.
