HSBC gains ground in majors

BEST BANK AWARDS 2006

This year the bank has risen up the rankings in the European crosses, coming second in dollar/sterling and euro/sterling, and third in euro/yen. It also topped the 2006 best bank in London category, ahead of last year's winner the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), as well as rising to fourth place in the eurozone category.
