Deutsche Morgan Grenfell has named Dan Almeida as global head of foreign exchange trading, a newly created position. Almeida, who has been acting as head of FX for the Americas, is transferring to London to take up the global post. DMG had previously been organized with regional heads of FX.

Thomas J Hughes, managing director and head of global financial markets at BankBoston in Boston, no longer holds that position and is now working on special projects for the Far East, an official confirms
