Salomon Brothers Inc.'s decision to bow out as specialist in the currency options pits during the Philadelphia Stock Exchange's (PHLX) night session, and renewed concerns about dwindling volume during the 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. stint, sparked the exchange's currency committee to reexamine the evening session at its most recent meeting.
