The launch demonstrates growing demand for investable indexes, such the PGS FX Alpha Edge product launched by Parker Global Strategies earlier this month.
The automated fund tracks the Barclays ICI, which targets an annual return of 8% over money-market rates. The ICI takes forward long and short positions in G10 currencies that are re-balanced every month by an algorithm developed in-house.
