
ED&F Man And Mint Investment Seek To Emulate MGC 2000 Fund

Hoping to repeat the success of their latest currency fund, the Mint Guaranteed Currencies 2000, ED&F Man and Mint Investment Management Co. plan to launch a similar fund this spring.
MGC 2000 uses cross-rate derivatives traded in the interbank market. The fund is dollar-denominated, comprised mostly of European currencies, yet lacks restrictions that exclude the use of currencies outside the majors.
Sources at ED&F Man say the new fund will emulate its predecessor by sticking close to the same
