Garban-Intercapital Links Up With E-Dealing Broker Blackbird

LONDON--Broker Garban-Intercapital has bought a 19% stake in e-swaps platform Blackbird, giving the broker a controlling 31% of voting rights. Blackbird is an online inter-dealer broker for interest rate derivatives.

It is unclear whether Garban-Intercapital and Blackbird will merge any broking operations as a result of the announced deal.
