Tullett Prebon retains forwards gong amid Sef chaos

Interdealer brokers have not had an easy year, partly because of the confusing and chaotic launch of swap execution facilities (Sefs) in the US. Tullett Prebon, which retains this year's broker award for foreign exchange forwards, has embarked on technical innovation over the past year as regulatory reform drives more trading onto electronic venues.

The firm has developed a new FX forwards platform, tpForwardDeal, which covers all seven Asian non-deliverable forwards (NDFs). It plans to roll out
