Nomura names new global head of FX structuring

Rana Dasgupta will have dual responsibility for global FX structuring and Asia-ex Japan structuring

Nomura has appointed Rana Dasgupta as its new global head of foreign exchange structuring, based in Singapore.

According to an internal memo seen by FX Markets, Dasgupta will retain his current role as Nomura’s head of Asia ex-Japan global market structuring. He will continue to report locally to Hamzah Kahloon, the bank’s co-head of global markets sales Asia ex-Japan, who joined in December from BNP Paribas.
