Deutsche Bank’s global spot trading head departs
Lee Merchant is latest in a string of senior FX departures for German dealer
Deutsche Bank veteran Lee Merchant, global head of foreign exchange spot trading, has left after more than 25 years with the bank.
Merchant departed at the end of 2023, according to his Linkedin profile. He was previously based in London, where he had run Deutsche’s spot trading business for the past 19 months.
Merchant has spent his entire career at the German bank in various spot trading roles in London, New York, Tokyo and Sydney. During his time in Australia, he served as head of Asia
