Corporate hedging strategies rarely differentiate between developed and emerging markets

Hedging and risk management practices at corporate treasuries have remained largely unchanged, despite the unprecedented and unexpected market events last year, with many companies sticking to traditional strategies, according to a survey of corporate treasurers by Citi.

The poll interviewed 150 treasurers from organisations varying in turnover from less than $1 billion to $25 billion, which represent all sectors of the economy and all global regions.
