Bank Of America's Technology Dominates Post Merger Desks


Bank of America (BA) has, not surprisingly, won the technology duel, and plans to displace almost all the systems Security Pacific National Bank brought to the table when the two merged earlier this year. In fact, according to BA vice president Rich Harmell, formerly of SecPac, only one major SecPac system--a partially homegrown deal-capture and position-keeping--will survive the merger.
