Jury acquits two over Libor manipulation

The two men were cleared of charges of conspiracy to defraud

Stylianos Contogoulas and Ryan Reich were acquitted on conspiracy to defraud charges by a jury at Southwark Crown Court following a one-month trial.   

The verdict was reached by the jury on April 5 and 6.

The two defendants were charged with conspiracy to defraud by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) in April 2014 following an investigation into the manipulation of US dollar Libor.

They were tried in July 2016, but the jury failed to reach a verdict for the two men. Four other co-defendants were
