Swiss watchdog issues six industry bans for serious regulation breaches
The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (Finma) has issued temporary industry bans against six former UBS managers and traders involved in attempts to manipulate FX benchmarks.
The body, which reached a settlement related to FX rigging with UBS last year, said the individuals, all employed in the FX and precious metals business of the Swiss bank, were directly responsible for the serious breaches of regulation.
