Dealers will have to start charging explicitly for offering stop-loss orders, according to guidelines set to be published in the UK's Fair and Effective Markets Review (FEMR), as the regulators seek to adjust guidelines to better reflect a more agency type of market structure, sources say.

FEMR, due to be published on June 10, is likely to include a ban on offering stop losses on a loss-making basis and recommend segregating such orders from the trading desk in an agency set-up. Rules will also
