CFTC commissioner questions NDF mandate suitability

Christopher Giancarlo, a commissioner at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has voiced concerns over whether non-deliverable forwards (NDFs) should be traded on swap execution facilities (Sefs) in the same way as other asset classes have been mandated to after clearing determinations.
