Danske wins with forecast of Swiss franc strength

Danske Bank has topped this week's 12-month currency forecast rankings after taking a contrarian view in late 2010 on the likely strength of the Swiss franc.

On October 22, 2010, the Danish bank predicted USD/CHF would fall from 0.97 to 0.91 in a year's time, a view that put it against the consensus forecast of an appreciation to 1.05.
