RBS hits top spot in Risk poll

NEWS

This was the key finding of FX Week sister publication Risk's 2005 inter-dealer derivatives rankings.

The UK's Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is making inroads in derivatives. It featured strongly in the currency options categories (see table A). This year, the bank knocked FX heavyweight UBS off the top spot to become the best house for exotic currency options, after placing third last year. RBS surged ahead of JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, while UBS slid to fifth place.
