Lauerman joins Oanda as business solutions head

Lucian Lauerman took on a new role as head of solutions for business at Oanda in London earlier this month, FX Week has learned.

Lauerman moved to the firm from Saxo Bank, where he spent more than seven years as head of API business and global head of electronic distribution.

He started his career at technology firm FNX in 1997, where he was an executive director.

In 2007, he became managing director for London and Northern Europe at financial order-management and trading systems provider GL
