Thompson to head FX options at BNY Mellon in NY

Joining the US bank from ANZ, Neal held a similar position from 2015

New York: Neal Thompson joins Bank of New York Mellon from ANZ

Neal Thompson has been recruited as Bank of New York Mellon’s head of FX options in New York, joining the US bank from ANZ, where he held an analogous position since 2015. 

Thompson has worked in several foreign exchange trading roles at banks such as Standard Chartered (2007-08), Credit Suisse (1995-2007) and NatWest (1990-94).

He also did a six-year stint on the buy side, serving as portfolio manager at hedge fund BlueCrest Capital Management between 2009 and 2015.
