Qureshi replaces McAuley as DBS Bank’s head of trading

Former head of GBP rates trading at SocGen joined the firm this month

Qureshi: back in finance after a period in the not-for-profit sector

Qassim Qureshi joined DBS Bank in London as head of trading, treasury and markets earlier this month, FX Week has learned. 

He replaces Aran McAuley, who was head of trading at the bank for four years until September 2019.

Qureshi moves to the firm after nine months out of the industry, working for the Shahid Afridi Foundation, a charitable organisation. Until January 2019, he was head of sterling rates trading at Societe Generale, a position he held for three years. He has also worked at
