Saurabh Sharma became an executive director, bank sales, at Nomura last month, FX Week has learned.

Coming from an e-FX background, Sharma will now focus primarily on bank business in Asia and report to Kevin Ching, executive director of FX and local market rates sales.

Sharma began his career at Deutsche Bank in Singapore as an associate in the institutional client group in 2007. He was responsible for building the e-FX business in South East Asia with a special focus on India. He held the
