Simon Potter exits New York Fed

Ray Testa will step in to lead the markets group while a successor is found

Simon Potter is stepping down as executive vice-president and head of the markets group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, effective on June 1.

Ray Testa, chief operating officer of the markets group, will lead the team in the interim until a successor is found.

A spokesperson for the Fed declined to comment on Potter’s abrupt departure.
