The Global Foreign Exchange Committee will be taking a keener look at anonymous trading platforms over the next year, in an attempt to explain how trading works on those venues.

Simon Potter, outgoing chair of the GFXC, tells FX Week that anonymous platforms are a common way of trading for many in the foreign exchange market. However, the committee has been thinking about how its disclosure principles could apply on those venues, as well as the flow of information across the parties using them
