Alasdair Macdonald has joined ED&F Man Capital Markets’ sales team to focus on the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), FX Week has learned.

Macdonald joins the UK broker from Societe Generale, where he most recently held the role of head of client facilitation, with a particular focus on lower risk principals.

He held a similar post at the French bank’s brokerage arm, Newedge, before moving to the bank’s main operations in 2015.
