CME prepares to cut several Nex executives

Senior managers including Tim Cartledge and Jim Iorio said to be exiting

The job cuts will be carried out over the next two months, according to sources

US derivatives giant CME Group is set to cut seniors at the electronic trading arm of its recently acquired Nex business, including chief strategy officer Tim Cartledge and global head of sales Jim Iorio, according to three market sources.

Chief financial officer Samantha Wren and group head of HR Harriet Oliver at Nex Group are also set to exit the company.

FX Week understands that Nex Markets chief executive Seth Johnson remains on a transitional assignment to help facilitate integration
